It's important to have a well-rounded education, but this was probably not in the best taste.
When a school wanted their students to integrate their Literature lesson with Algebra, parents were NOT loving the homework assignments. Seen below, students had to figure out a math problem to determine who raped Maya Angelou and whether she was a bookie/drug dealer/night club dancer.
Sure, it's important for them to learn, but it's not a great look for a trivial math assignment.
