Another Patriots Player Says He Will Not Visit White House

There will be at least one more Patriots player skipping the White House when the team visits the president this year.

Devin McCourty texted TIME that he would not be attending the upcoming White House Super Bowl victory celebration with his team, saying:

"I'm not going to the White House. Basic reason for me is I don't feel accepted in the White House. With the president having so many strong opinions and prejudices I believe certain people might feel accepted there while others won't."

McCourty's teammate Martellus Bennett said, earlier in the week, that he too would not be joining his team for the trip.
