Patriots fans are always winning!
20-year-old John Goehke knows, firsthand, that it pays to be a New England Patriots fan. In fact, his faith in the Pats just landed him a date with pro tennis stunner Genie Bouchard.
Sunday night, when the Atlanta Falcons lead 21-3 in Super Bowl 51, Bouchard Tweeted that she ‘knew the Falcons would win.’ That’s when Goehrke saw his opening and Tweeted, “If Patriots win we go on a date?” Bouchard accepted and the rest, as they say, is history.
Bouchard confirmed with TSN that she intends to follow through on her promise and may even invite Goehke to her next tennis tournament.
"I'll fly him out (to a tournament), but besides that he has to be the gentleman and, you know, organise a fun date night," she said.
