Botched Dermal Fillers Left Woman Disfigured and Extremely Depressed

4-year-old Carol Bryan from Florida had dermal fillers injected into face in 2009, but the botched fillers caused her face to swell and left her disfigured and blind in one eye.

The swelling was so bad that she had to tape one of her eyes open to see.  Corrective surgery made things even worse, leaving her so messed up that she became a recluse for more than 3 years and thought about killing herself.

Dr. Reza Jarrahy from UCLA performed reconstructive surgery on her face, and now she campaigns on the dangers of seemingly harmless procedures.

She appeared on the show The Doctors to tell her story:"When I was in my 20s and 30s people took notice of me. I was attractive. I felt confident.  I started doing Botox in my 30s for the vertical lines between my eyes. It was amazing. It took years off my face."

Her addiction to fillers got worse and worse until she completely ruined herself:

"My forehead was becoming so heavy it started to affect my ability to see. I began to have to tape my eyes open to walk."
