One of the highlights of Sunday’s Grammy awards was John Legend and Cynthia Erivo’s emotional duet of the Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows,” as part of the annual In Memoriam.
As special as it was, many Twitter users were quick to point out the omission of Christina Grimmie from the In Memoriam montage that played on the broadcast:
Her name was, however included on the Recording Academy’s website in a list of artists and industry professionals who died between 2016 and 2017.
