A solid rule of thumb to avoid a tacky Valentines dud is to not get your girl anything heart-shaped unless it's edible. At least two pizza chains, many local places, and novice cooks came to the rescue to offer lovers (and extra sad single folks) heart-shaped versions of the world's greatest food.
