“Weekend Update” co-anchor Michael Che is not backing down on comments he made about Boston, when he called it the “most racist” city he ever visited.
According to The Boston Globe, Che told a crowd at Boston University Thursday that he received many angry messages on social media after making the comment on Saturday Night Live just one night before the Super Bowl.
He specifically recalled responding to one woman, saying “talk to your closest black friend and ask them to explain it to you.” According to Che, her response was “touche.”
