21-year-old Bridgewater State University student James Onuigbo is being called “legendary” for the public Twitter burn he just put on his college.
Every April, the college hosts “Springfest,” a week-long event that includes a comedy show. Typically, the college hires a reputable [expensive] comedian as a headliner, but Onuigbo threw his name in the ring as a no-cost alternative:
A few minutes later, the school responded, “okay, tell me a joke:"
His response? “Financial aid:”
…and, just like that, people lost it:
