Burger King's "Genius" Ad Backfires Big Time

All credit to BK, this was a pretty good concept: a primetime commercial where the ad asks "Hey Google? What's in a Whopper?" and, if your Google home is near the TV, it immediately reads off the Wikipedia entry- here's the commercial

Fun fact, ANYBODY can update Wikipedia, immediately.

Naturally, everybody was trolling the page- adding things that definitely don't belong in a Whopper to the ingredients

Even better? Burger King did NOT get permission from Google this one and took swift action

A lot of people were upset that it messed with their privacy, but others will admit that sometimes any press is good press
