Aaron Hernandez was found not guilty Tuesday of two counts of first-degree murder related to a 2012 drive-by shooting.
The jury had deliberated for six days.
Prosecutors argued that Hernandez killed Daniel Abreau and Safiro Furtado on July 16, 2012 after one of them spilled a drink on him earlier in the night.
Both Abreau and Safiro’s families were in the courtroom when the verdict was read.
Hernandez was previously convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison in 2015 for the murder of Odin Lloyd.
