The Republican health care bill narrowly passed the House on Thursday afternoon, 217-212. We are now one step closer to the repeal of President Barack Obama’s health care law, the Affordable Care Act.
The bill now heads to the Senate. Regardless of its future there, this will be a victory for House Republicans, Speaker Paul Ryan and President Donald Trump.
Republicans on the floor sang "nah-nah nah-nah hey-hey-hey goodbye" as it became clear the legislation would pass.
