Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody in Lebanon, NH, after an active shooter alert at Hitchcock Medical Center.
Sources tell WCVB-TV that the shooting was a domestic situation between the suspect and their parent, who is a patient at the hospital. Attorney General Gordon McDonald said the 70-year-old woman was shot and killed in the Intensive Care Unit.
The hospital was locked down after the shooting, but McDonald said there is no threat to the public.
