Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz detailed a failed writing session for the now-defunct pop supergroup One Direction.
Ultimately the writing sessions with FOB frontman Patrick Stump never materialized, but Wentz opened up about the project backstage at Kiss 108's Jingle Ball.
"We were there for one day... It was really brief," the musician explained. "Even when we were writing the song, I was like, 'I'm not sure this is a strong song for OneDirection.' It felt like it could be for another band... I don't really know."
As to why OneDirection didn't use the song?
"Maybe it's too good and they just wanted to keep it for themselves!"
