Eagles Defeat Patriots 41-33 For First Win In Team History

For the first time in team history, the Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions, beating the New England Patriots 41-33 at US Bank Stadium.

Despite being the top seed in the NFC, the Eagles were not favored in any of their postseason games, feeding off their standing as an underdog.

Nick Foles, the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for and catch a touchdown in the Super Bowl, was also the first backup quarterback to win a Super Bowl since Tom Brady did it in 2001.
