Rosé Soirée, prettier than PSL
Rose is having a moment, and a group of young professionals are hoping a night out with the blush will make a big impact on cancer patients traveling to Boston.
The Young Professionals of the American Cancer Society’s (YPACS) Greater Boston chapter is hosting its first ever Rosé Soirée. The evening will offer not just some downtime after work, but a way to support the AstraZeneca Hope Lodge Center in Boston. Monday raised at Rosé Soirée will support the Hope Lodge, in Jamaica Plain, where the American Cancer Society provides a free place to stay for cancer patients.
“It’s an easy way for you to provide a good night’s sleep to someone who has to travel far from home to get cancer treatment in Boston,” said Donnie Todd, Airport Operations Supervisor and Corporate Social Responsibility Liaison at JetBlue Airways in Boston and president of Boston’s YPACS.
Sponsored by PwC, 90+ Cellars, and The Gross Family, the event is Thursday, Oct. 3, from 7 – 10 p.m., at Publico Street Bistro & Kitchen, 11 Dorchester Street, Boston MA 02127. The dress code is cocktail with a pink theme.
Tickets are $125 and include hors d'oeuvres, a limited open bar featuring 90+ wine and signature cocktails, a raffle, photo booth, dancing, and an Instant Wine Cellar. Never heard of it? Attendees can bring one bottle of wine to the event - something you would bring to a friend's house for dinner. When they arrive, volunteers will have them personalize that bottle with your signature and a message. The entire assortment will then be featured in the event’s raffle. You could be the lucky one who goes home with a stockpile of wine and a story to share each time you bring out a personalized bottle to enjoy!
So, why rose? It’s prettier than pumpkin spice latte. Need we say more?
