Candace Cameron Bure is not afraid to show that her marriage of 24 years still has some fire - even in the face of criticism.

Although her husband, NHL veteran Valeri Bure, likes to keep things on the DL, the Fuller House star “got permission” to post a photo to her Instagram Stories over Labor Day Weekend that featured some handsy PDA. In the photo, Valeri is resting his hand on Candace’s breast as the two face the camera. While some of her followers found the pic amusing, others called the actress out for being “inappropriate.”

In response to the negative feedback, Candace returned to her IG Stories to defend her decision to post the photo. "For all of you Christians that are questioning my post with my husband's hand on my boob — my husband of 24 years — thinking it was inappropriate, it makes me laugh because it's my husband, we have so much fun together,” she said. “He can touch me anytime he wants, and I hope he does. This is what a healthy, good marriage and relationship is all about."

"I'm sorry if it offended you... I'm actually not sorry," she continued. "I'm glad we have fun together after so many years. He can touch me all day long."

While the couple clearly values having a sense of humor in their relationship, Candace has gone on record to emphasize the importance of their Christian faith as the foundation of their marriage. "The reality is, the glue for us is Jesus," she told People in 2018.
