Did you know thereâs a way to see how much money youâve ever spent on Amazon? Itâs true and, we can tell you from experience, that the results may shock you.
TikToker @k.harrigan posted a now-viral video showing how you can download the info for every Amazon purchase youâve ever made, which you can use to see the total amount of money youâve spent at the online retail giant. Just make sure that youâre sitting down when you do it â itâs probably going to be a lot more than you think!
Follow these steps to download your report â itâs easiest on a desktop computer:
- Go to Amazon.com and make sure youâre signed in with your account credentials.
- Click âHello, [YOUR NAME]â in the top right corner.
- Click âDownload Order Reportsâ in the âOrdering and Shopping Preferencesâ section.
- Set the start date to a time before you created your account (or just the earliest date possible) and set the end date to today.
- Click the âRequest Reportâ button to download your report.
Once the spreadsheet file (.csv) is downloaded, youâll need to sum up all your purchases to find your total. So, drop the file into your spreadsheet program of choice or phone a friend to add it up.
Sound confusing? It might be easier to just watch the video:
