Move over, McFly. Hoverboards are now a reality.
As reported by Futurism, the video below was Tweeted out by Buitengebieden with the text "This man is living in 2030!" In the video, a man is shown on what is said to be a real-life, drone-like hoverboard, zipping through an urban location.
According to TMZ, the vehicle appears to be created and sold by a company called Omni Hoverboards and, while they’re not ready for public use, may become available in the future for the somewhat prohibitive price of $20,000. But, think about how expensive TVs used to be and, now, they practically give them away!
Omni Hoverboards claims to be the first flying hoverboard. Their prototype set a Guinness world Record in 2015 with a flight of over 902 feet, as seen in the video below:
