Boston Meal Pack for 9/11 Day

*MASKS AND PROOF OF FULL COVID VACCINATION WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY*

You are invited to participate in the Boston Meal Pack for 9/11 Day.

9/11 Day is collaborating with Boston Cares to organize a signature meal pack in Boston in observance of the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and the federally-recognized September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance.

On Saturday, September 11, 2021, more than 500 volunteers from throughout the Boston community will help pack at least 100,000 healthy, non-perishable meals. To help address the growing food crisis, all the meals will be donated to and distributed by The Greater Boston Food Bank to individuals and families who are food insecure.

Here's a two-minute video that highlights their signature meal packs.

Volunteers will participate in a 2-hour shift at the The Westin Boston Seaport District. This project is family friendly – it is just recommend that kids are old enough (12+) to help pack meals.

Register here to choose from available volunteer shifts (you’ll pack meals for approximately two hours). 9/11 Day will then send you an online ticket via email. Please remember to bring your ticket with you to the event, and arrive at least 20 minutes early for security check-in. This event is FREE! However, space is very limited so register immediately. If you have questions or want to register a larger group, please contact dustin.speakman@911day.org.

The Boston Meal Pack for 9/11 Day is one of 11 signature meal packs happening around the country on 9/11.
