Do you need some extra cash and love scary movies? This might be the job for you.
Financial information website FinanceBuzz is looking to hire a “Horror Movie Heart Rate Analyst” who will watch scary movies while getting their heart rate monitored by a Fitbit activity tracker (which they will supply). The pay? $1,300 – that’s $100 per movie!
You won’t be watching just any scary movies, though. The people at FinanceBuzz have assembled a list of what they say are some of the scariest movies ever made. Here’s the full list:
- Saw
- Amityville Horror
- A Quiet Place
- A Quiet Place 2
- Candyman
- Insidious
- The Blair Witch Project
- Sinister
- Get Out
- The Purge
- Halloween (2018)
- Paranormal Activity
- Annabelle
Horror aficionados may have noticed that the list has a pretty good mix of high and low-budget movies, and that’s completely intentional. The goal of this study is to determine if a movie’s budget is relative to its ability to deliver scares.
Think you’ve got what it takes to sit through all those scares while having your ticker tracked? All you’ve got to do to apply is fill out and submit the form on this page, letting the people at FinanceBuzz know why you’re the ideal person for the job. Applications are due by September 26 at midnight ET. The lucky winner will then be chosen by October 1.
Good luck! Hope this helps you scare up some cash!
