We’ve talked before on the show about Foster Youth in Southern California and the struggles they face when they age out of the system.

Layla Tehranchi, high school senior from Brentwood decided to do something about it.

In August, Layla launched FosterBuddy, an app that connects emancipated teens and foster youth aging out of the system with mentors and professionals who are interested in making a lasting difference in the lives of those in need.

Learn more about the app on Instagram @FosterBuddyApp.

Listen to more about how Layla is changing the world and helping foster youth with her app... and why we think she might be President someday!
