Liam Payne's Girlfriend Kate Cassidy Breaks Silence On Death Of 'My Angel'

Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy has broken her silence on the tragic death of her "angel."

The influencer took to her Instagram Stories on Friday (October 18) to share an emotional message of thanks to everyone who has sent her love and and support in the days following Payne's untimely death on Wednesday. The 31-year-old One Direction alum passed away after falling several stories from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Cassidy had been traveling with her boyfriend in Argentina before flying back to the U.S. earlier this week, per People.

"Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way," she said. "I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you'll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private."

Cassidy, who has been linked to the "Strip that Down" musician since 2022, went on to address her boyfriend directly in a heartbreaking statement, telling him how she will love him for the rest of her life.

"Liam, my angel. You are everything," she said. "I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam."

Cassidy's tribute to her late beau follows even more love shared by fans and friends since news broke of his death, including the messages of grief shared by his One Direction bandmates Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. Tomlinson shared a lengthy message mourning a brother and best friend, ZAYN shared an emotional letter to the late singer, Styles said his "heart breaks" with the loss of his "lovely friend," and Horan said "it just doesn't feel real" that his "amazing friend" is gone.
