WELLESLEY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Fleet's Olympic gold medalists showed off their hardware at the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley on Thursday.

Team USA took down Canada to win gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics thanks the efforts of three fleet players.

Fleet captain Megan Keller scored the iconic overtime goal for their win, now called, "The Star-Spangled Dangle" by many fans.

"I like it, I don't know how often they'll be using dangle in a sentence with my name, so I'll take it," Keller said.

Aerin Frankel said she's excited to see how the PWHL will grow after the hype from the Olympics.

"A lot of these people who watched hockey for the first time at the Olympics want to know where does Alina Müller play, and they want to see and continue to follow us. I think that's incredible, and I don't think they'll be disappointed with the product on the ice with the PWHL. I think they'll be hooked, so hopefully we've got a few more Boston Fleet fans," Frankel said.

Hailey Winn said she doesn't think the win has hit her yet.

"I probably watched Keller's goal back like a million times and every time you just get chills. It is so cool, obviously a dream come true, and obviously to bring it back to this city is super special," Winn said.

Keller said that the 1998 U.S. Olympic gold medal team inspired her to play hockey, and she's hoping this win will inspire young girls to play hockey like it did for her.

"That's what sparked a dream, so to realize the enormity of what we just did and hopefully we spark dreams in so many young girls," Keller said.

Müller took home bronze for her native Switzerland as well. Now all focus is on winning the Fleet’s first Walter Cup.
