BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Boston Public Library held a Special Collections exhibit at its Copley Square branch in the Back Bay Wednesday.
The exhibit ran for just a few hours during the afternoon as part of First Night Boston festivities.
Visitors got a chance to see historic maps and photographs of the library and the Back Bay area from over 100 years ago.
"We thought that with the new year coming up, it was a good time to pause and look back at these various activities that have taken place in this spot over time," BPL Special Collections Public Services Supervisor Kathleen Monahan told WBZ NewsRadio.
