FOXBORO, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — MBTA Commuter Rail trains to and from Foxboro Station are running again after being canceled for a brief time Thursday morning.
The MBTA said a "signal issue" was to blame, and was still slowing down trains as of mid-morning Thursday. The service told riders to expect "severe delays" on the Foxboro Line. The MBTA had asked riders to take the Franklin Line and use a shuttle bus between Franklin Station and Foxboro earlier in the morning. The stations are about nine miles away by car, a roughly 20-minute drive.
WBZ NewsRadio has reached out to the MBTA and Keolis for more details.
