BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — President Joe Biden came to Boston on Tuesday for a flurry of campaign fundraising events. Boston is the first stop on a major money blitz for the campaign, which will crisscross the country with four stops this week alone.

Air Force One roared into Boston's Logan International Airport shortly before 11:30 a.m. President Biden was greeted on the tarmac by Gov. Maura Healey and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu.

From there, the president was ushered into a motorcade which drove off down the Mass. Pike to a Biden Victory Fund fundraiser at the Weston home of former U.S Ambassador to Spain Alan Solomont. Tickets for the high-dollar fundraiser began at $25,000. The event was the first of three in Tuesday's funding push.

President Biden is set to attend a fundraising concert with James Taylor at the Shubert Theater later on Thursday. Tickets to the concert range from $50 for the cheap seats, to $7,500 for prime spots. The Party for Socialism and Liberation" group is expected to picket outside the historic theater on Tuesday afternoon and evening against U.S. support for Israel. They put out a call to pro-Palestinian activists to show up at 4:30 p.m. and a rally is set for 6:30 p.m. The show starts at 7:00.
