Backstage at our Kiss 108 Jingle Ball, Billy Costa invites Lauv to our Dunkin Interview Lounge to talk about songwriting, the holidays, and moving across the country.
"We had Nicky Youre backstage a couple minutes ago," Billy begins. "He said Lauv is my favorite artist on the planet."
"That's so crazy. There's no way he said that," Lauv laughs in disbelief. "I'm super honored. He's been super sweet. It would be cool to work with him."

Lauv is no stranger to collaborating with hit singers like Julia Michaels and BTS. But it may come as a surprise that the "I Like Me Better" singer has also worked with fellow Kiss 108 Jingle Ball performer Demi Lovato.
"I was just out of college," Lauv starts. "And I was kind of trying to be an artist and also trying to be a songwriter and producer, pitching songs for other artists."
That's when Demi Lovato discovered his song "No Promises".
"Demi just heard the demo of it and loved it."
"I freaked out when I heard that. I had very little going on at the point in my music career."
"I think the Cheat Code guys sent it to Demi. I was like, that's crazy."
But the two have yet to meet in person.
Lauv is hoping to change that tonight at our Kiss 108 Jingle Ball.
"It would be amazing."

Lauv also hopes to meet Kid Laroi and Tate McRae.
"I love Kid Laroi. Tate's super sick."
Who knows? Maybe his Christmas wish will come true tonight....
