A Great White Shark was found dead on the shores of Truro Beach. The shark was a male who was about 9 feet long. An autopsy is being done to determine the cause of death.
There is no word yet if this is the same shark who attacked 61 year old William Lytton. Lytton was attacked while swimming at Truro Beach on August 15th. Lytton suffered deep puncture wounds to his leg and torso.
Lytton of Scarsdale, New York is still in the hospital but has been listed in good condition.
This was the first attack on a human in Massachusetts since 2012.
