There was a bizarre and tragic scene in Watertown yesterday, a woman in her 60s was struck and killed by a tow truck driver. Her son then was heard screaming 'you ran over my mother, you ran over my mother' before opening the door to the truck where he began stabbing the driver.
Witnesses said it was such a gruesome scene, the woman was still laying crushed underneath the truck while her son was attacking the driver. The driver was stabbed 5 times in the stomach.
Police were able to apprehend the son who was extremely distressed. The tow truck driver was taken to a local hospital where he being listed in critical condition.
