MTV has made some recent changes to their award shows including getting rid of gendered categories at the 2017 MTV movie awards. Now they are doing away with the 'Moon Man' and welcoming the 'Moon Person' which you will see in August at the MTV Music Awards. The President of MTV said in an interview"Why should it be a man? It could be a man, it could be a woman, it could be transgender, it could be nonconformist."
Katy Perry announced last week that she will be the host this of the MTV Music awards which will air on Sunday August 27th from California.
it makes me smile when cool things like this happen, and are recognized.
